THE RIGHT TRAINING GEAR ENSURES GOOD RESULTS
My training gear includes a special backpack from the company Ride Light, also clothes of high quality and low weight. For footwear, I use Hoka One One Challenger ATR2, recommended to me by three-time winner of the Marathon Des Sables, Rachid Elmorabity.
At first these sneakers felt rather large and clumsy, but once I went running with them they turned out to be seriously comfortable. The sneakers have a very soft sole which helps reduce impact. They’re good for running on a stony surface, as the soft sole absorbs the spikes of the rocks and they do not pierce through. At first I didn’t understand all this stuff, but now I’m convinced it was the right choice! At the moment I’m still trying out different socks and shirts, to be 100% confident in my equipment.
One great discovery related to the pack was, after thinking this whole time that my drink would quickly get warm while running, I realized that the bottle holders are made of a special material that blocks the sun’s heat.
There was one downside to the training gear. I don’t know if it’s the shirt or the pack, but something rubbed my back raw by the second training day. I endured the pain, tightened the straps of the pack, and finished my training.
